I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Beauty and the Beast recording session for their 2025 National Tour. I got to observe from the booth as the cast recorded sweetening tracks, gaining further insight into how to run a recording session and how audio gets cleaned during editing. I also was able to expand my practical knowledge about editing software, microphone balance, and layering vocals. Guiding me through the process was Music Director and Conductor David Andrews Rogers, whose experience ranges from Broadway National and International Tours to Symphony Pops Concerts.
